President Trump and Vice President JD Vance are launching a $25 million program that pays people for tips about fraud involving federal money, according to AP News. It's called the Fraud Whistleblower Incentive Program, or WHIP. Anyone can submit a tip at fraud.gov, and if it leads to a conviction or a major federal enforcement action, the person who sent it can get up to $30,000. Sending a tip alone doesn't qualify for a payout, and the Justice Department will run the program.

The program builds on Trump's Task Force to Eliminate Fraud, which he created in March and put Vance in charge of. "This administration has zero tolerance for individuals who steal from Americans," White House spokesperson Lauren Bis said. The announcement is scheduled for Tuesday in the Oval Office.

During the event, Trump is set to hand a $10,000 check to Nick Shirley, a right-wing influencer. Last year Shirley posted a viral video claiming that members of Minnesota's Somali community were running fake childcare centers to collect federal money.
